In a bid to activate interaction with residents of Ondo State and render timely intervention in cases of emergencies, the Ondo State police command has published contacts of all its officers manning sensitive duty posts statewide.
The step is part of the comprehensive security measures being taken by security agencies in the state in collaboration with the state government to keep criminals away from the state
In an advise titled “Kow Your DPOs for Active Interaction and Prompt Emergency Intervention”, the state police command said:
“The Ondo State Police Command encourages residents to familiarize themselves with the Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) serving within their respective jurisdictions.
“Maintaining regular communication with your DPO and Police Division fosters stronger police-community relations, enhances intelligence gathering and ensures swift response during emergencies.
“Security is a shared responsibility. By knowing your DPO and promptly reporting suspicious activities, residents can contribute significantly to crime prevention and the maintenance of peace and order within their communities.
“Stay informed. Stay vigilant. Know your DPO. Together, we can build a safer Ondo State.”
