*Every man will either embrace the power of understanding or face the pains of ignorance.*
*Permit me to say this : “your greatest strength is what you know, while your biggest weakness is your ignorance”.*
*Listen to the mind of God on the power of understanding :*
*1) “….a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels” – Prov 1:5.*
*2) “….understanding shall keep thee” -Prov. 2:11.*
*3) “In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found, but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding” -Prov 10:13.*
*Therefore, because of the critical benefits of knowledge in the journey of life, man must seek to expand what he knows, and broaden the horizon of his understanding, and that is practically on daily basis.*
*Note that there cannot be success for any man who fails the examination of understanding.*
*Understanding is being able to comprehend what one should know, and this becomes helpful in areas of our life as follows :*
*1) One’s career pursuit and the attendant critical decisions in respect of this.*
*2) Business endeavours and commitments around us.*
*3) Communal efforts and activities ongoing around us.*
*4) Family relationships across different lines.*
*5) Other concerned activities and related engagements.*
*It is understanding that will help a man to read people and situations correctly, and get adjusted to them as appropriate as one marches forward in life.*
*When well managed, it is understanding that will metamorphose into one’s success and progress in life.*
*When poorly handled on the other hand, it is this that will degenerate into failure and other such things classified as setback that one may not like.*
*Listen to the mind of God on ignorance:*
*Hosea 4: [6] “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children”.*
*Can you imagine how many battles of life have been lost, not because the enemy is that strong, but because men and brethren failed to know what they should have known.*
*You and I will either embrace the power of understanding or face the pains of ignorance.*
*Therefore, everyday seek to know more than you knew yesterday. Bit by bit, is how it comes together to give one an informed perspective to life.*
*Never, ever despise knowledge, or disdain understanding. For example, some people claim “education is a scam”. Those who adopted this stand yesterday, are already conscripted into the dustbin of history, even while alive.*
*Please never follow such minds or thoughts.*
