RUGIPO’s Acting Rector Lawson celebrates institution’s workers on Workers’ Day

The Acting Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State, RUGIPO, Dr. Sunday Olorunwa Lawson, has felicitated with the workers of the institution on the occasion of this year’s International Workers’ Day celebration.

In a goodwill message he signed, he noted the workers’ contributions to the progress of the institution, and also acknowledged the challenges being faced.

However, he expressed confidence that with unity and collaboration, the institution would overcome whatever challenges.

Lawson, an engineer, sought the workers’ cooperation, collaboration, and support in driving the institution towards excellence

He promised that in line with the vision of the Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, he would encourage innovative and entrepreneurial ideas that can boost RUGIPO’s Internal Generated Revenue (IGR).

Therefore, he appealed:, “Let’s work together to explore profitable business proposals that benefit our institution and community.”

Lawson noted that the workers’ dedication and hard work are the backbone of the institution’s success, adding that he feels honoured to lead such a talented team.

He said that the efforts of all the institution”s workers are valued and appreciated, as he pleaded: “Let’s continue to strive for excellence and make RUGIPO a hub for academic and entrepreneurial success.’

“Dear Esteemed RUGIPO Workforce,

“Happy Worker’s Day!

“As the newly appointed Acting Rector, I, Engr. (Dr.) Lawson Olorunwa Sunday, extend my warmest greetings to each and every one of you. Your dedication and hard work are the backbone of our institution’s success, and I’m honored to lead such a talented team.

“Today, we celebrate not only your contributions but also the progress we’ve made together. I acknowledge the challenges we’ve faced and the one we are still facing, but I’m confident that with unity and collaboration, we can overcome them. As we move forward, I seek your cooperation, collaboration, and support in driving RUGIPO towards excellence.
