The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Osun State chapter, has announced the death of its Director of Finance, Dr Isiaka Ayodele Owoade, popularly known as Babalaje, describing his passing as a painful loss to the organisation and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
In a statement signed by the State Coordinator of the group, Ambassador Oluomo Sunday Akere, the organisation disclosed that Owoade died in London, United Kingdom, at about 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
It said the deceased, a former Special Adviser on Lands in Osun State, was a committed progressive who served the state and the APC with dedication, loyalty and a strong sense of responsibility.
According to the statement, Owoade played a significant role in the activities of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, where he was regarded as a dependable leader whose wealth of experience, calm disposition and commitment to the organisation earned him the admiration and respect of members and associates.
The organisation described his death as a difficult moment for everyone who knew and worked with him, noting that his contributions to the progressive family would remain indelible.
“We have indeed lost a committed progressive, a trusted colleague and a man who gave his time and experience to the service of our organisation and the wider APC family. His absence will be deeply felt,” the statement read.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors extended its heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, his friends, political associates and the entire Osun State chapter of the APC.
The group prayed that Almighty God would grant the late Dr Isiaka Ayodele Owoade help and give his family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
