Adeleke charges Osun pilgrims to uphold state’s image during Hajj

Governor Ademola Adeleke has urged intending pilgrims from Osun State to conduct themselves as worthy ambassadors as they embark on the holy pilgrimage to Mecca.

He gave the charge during a farewell programme held in Abere, stressing the need for discipline and good conduct throughout the spiritual exercise.

Adeleke noted that Osun State has built a commendable reputation during previous pilgrimages and encouraged the new batch of pilgrims to uphold and sustain that standard.

He emphasised that strict adherence to the rules and guidelines of the Hajj is essential, not only for the success of the pilgrimage but also for maintaining the state’s integrity.

The governor also called on the pilgrims to pray for peace, stability, and continued development in Osun State while in the holy land.
