Osun PHC board congratulates Adeleke on re-election

Osun State Primary Health Care Development Board (PHCDB) has congratulated the state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his victory in the governorship election held on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

The Board described Adeleke’s re-election as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in his administration by the people of the state.

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the management and staff of the Board, the Executive Secretary, Dr. Shina Igbalaye, commended the governor for his commitment to the development of Osun State, particularly his efforts toward strengthening the primary healthcare system.

Igbalaye said the governor’s re-election would provide an opportunity for his administration to consolidate its achievements and introduce more initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and quality of life of residents.

He noted that the health sector had continued to receive attention under the Adeleke administration, expressing optimism that the governor’s second term would bring further development to healthcare infrastructure and improve access to quality and affordable healthcare services across the state.

According to him, sustained investment in primary healthcare remained essential to improving the health outcomes of residents, particularly those in underserved communities.

The Executive Secretary, while congratulating Adeleke on his electoral victory, prayed for wisdom, good health, strength and divine guidance for the governor as he begins another term in office.

He also assured the governor of the continued commitment and support of the management and staff of the Osun State Primary Health Care Development Board toward achieving the administration’s healthcare objectives.

Igbalaye said the Board would continue to work with relevant stakeholders to strengthen primary healthcare delivery and ensure that residents across the state have improved access to essential health services.

The Board wished Governor Adeleke a successful second term in office and expressed confidence that his administration would continue to record significant achievements in the overall development of Osun State.
