Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, RUGIPO, has extended greetings to Muslims within its community on the celebration of this year’s Eid-Udha.

Also,it rejoices with members of the Polytechnic Staff School on the occasion of this year’s Children’s Day, stressing the importance of children as future leaders and celebrating their creativity, innocence, and potential

It said in a statement: “The Management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, under the leadership of the Acting Rector, Engr. Dr. Olorunwa Lawson, extends warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful within the Polytechnic community on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

“The Institution joins Muslim staff and students in commemorating the season of sacrifice, obedience, and devotion to Almighty Allah, praying that the blessings of the celebration bring peace, joy, and fulfilment to all homes and families.

“Management also rejoices with members of the Polytechnic Staff School on the occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebration. The Institution acknowledges the importance of children as future leaders and celebrates their creativity, innocence, and potential.

“The Polytechnic commends teachers and caregivers for their dedication, commitment, and invaluable role in nurturing and shaping the lives of the pupils.

“Members of the Polytechnic community are encouraged to use this period to reflect on the values of love, sacrifice, discipline, and unity, while fostering peaceful coexistence within and beyond the Institution.
