Osun State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has congratulated party members, aspirants, and delegates over what it described as the successful and peaceful conduct of the party’s primaries across the country.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Abdulsalam Abdulkudus, the party said the exercise demonstrated the ADC’s democratic maturity, internal unity, and commitment to building a stronger political future for Nigeria.

The party particularly celebrated the emergence of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, as its presidential candidate, describing his victory as a reflection of the confidence party stakeholders have in his leadership experience and vision for national transformation.

According to the statement, Osun ADC also commended other presidential, legislative, and party aspirants for their conduct throughout the exercise, noting that their participation strengthened the democratic process within the party.

The chapter further praised delegates, electoral officials, and party members across wards and local government areas for maintaining discipline and orderliness before, during, and after the primaries.

“As we move beyond the primaries, all members must close ranks and unite behind the choices of the party. The task ahead requires collective sacrifice, strategic engagement, and sustained grassroots mobilization,” the statement read.

The party added that it remains committed to building a formidable political structure capable of delivering good governance and sustainable development to Nigerians.
