The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State, has mourned the passage of the passage of the Chairman of the state’s Mulsim Welfare Board, Alhaji Khaleel Fawehinmi
A statement today by the party’s Director of Publicity, Mr Steve Otaloro, said: “We received with heavy heart the demise of Alhaji Khaleel Fawehinmi, Chairman, Ondo State Mulsim Welfare Board, who died on Friday, 12th December, 2020, in the United States of America.
“Alhaji Fawehinmi was a dedicated and vibrant personality who became a bridge between the government and the Muslim community in the state, a helping hand to break barriers in providing a voice and representation for the faithful.
“Many persons knew Alhaji Fawehinmi for his great contributions to the Ondo state Mulsim Welfare Board, as well, for his strong devotion to the religion of Islam before his demise.
“While we mourn his loss, we hope that Alhaji Khaleel Fawehinmi’s legacy will serve as an inspiration and beacon of hope to his fellow colleagues and his community.
“His image and touches will not be forgotten for many years in the arena of religion, particularly, as it concerns the technicality of pilgrimage.”
