Osun Gives Appointment Letters To New Teachers

Osun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has issued appointment letters to successful candidates recruited to teach in public secondary schools across the state.

The recruitment exercise, conducted under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, drew qualified applicants from all the 30 local government areas of Osun State.

The exercise is part of the state government’s efforts to strengthen the education sector while creating employment opportunities for young graduates.

In a statement released in Osogbo, the Chairman of TESCOM, Comrade Tope Adéyemí, congratulated the newly recruited teachers and urged them to see their appointment as a call to service.

According to him, the recruitment represents a significant step toward improving the quality of teaching and learning in public secondary schools across the state.

Adéyemí charged the teachers to carry out their duties with dedication, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility, noting that their role is critical to the academic development of students and the overall growth of the education sector in Osun

He also appreciated applicants for their patience throughout the recruitment process, assuring that the exercise was conducted with fairness and transparency.

The TESCOM chairman further encouraged the new teachers to justify the confidence reposed in them by the state government by impacting knowledge effectively and contributing to the advancement of education in the state.

The newly appointed teachers have been directed to report to their respective schools and resume duties immediately.
