The Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE, the umbrella body of editors of both print, online, and electronic media organisations in the country, has admitted Dr Tunde Olusunle, a prolific media personality, administrator, and literary scholar, into its body of Fellows.
The approval of the Fellowship award was conyed to Olusunle via the Guild’s letter dated September 8, 2026, signed by its Secretary General, Onuoha Ukeh. The letter said the Standing Committee of the Guild approved of his elevation.
The Guild said Olusunle’s induction as a Fellow would take place on September 26, 2026, in Enugu at its Gala Night/Farewell Dinner to mark the conclusion of the 22nd All Nigeria Editors’ Conference.
The group congratulated Olusunle on his well-deserved fellowship award and professional attainment and wished him more professional successes.
Olusunle, a Fellow of the Association of Nigerian Authors, (FANA), joins media leaders like Pa Sam Amuka – Pemu, FNGE, publisher of *Vanguard* newspapers; Akinrogun Olusegun Osoba, FNGE, CFR, former Governor of Ogun State; Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, FNGE, CON, pioneer Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, (NDDC); Chief Ray Ekpu, FNGE, co-founder of *Newswatch* magazine and Mr Nduka Obaigbena, FNGE, CON, Proprietor of *Thisday* newspapers and *Arise Television,* among other distinguished Fellows of the Guild.
