The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Friday displayed the provisional list of all the governorship candidates and their running mates in the October 10 election across the state and on its website in line with the Electoral Act.
All the 17 candidates are male and they include the incumbent Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who is seeking a second term and his main challenger, Mr Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP.
