*There are different things driving different people in life.*
*But the ultimate driver for all men should be “Getting Busy For God”.*
*The title of our reflection today is a wake-up call to us all.*
*Imagine the verse below on the admonition of God about being purposeful for Him :*
*John 15: [2] Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.*
*Most of the time, most of us in our respective settings have adopted the principle of sitting down, watch, and wait, with little or no partnership with God in His agenda for humanity.*
*Jesus Christ was so bothered with this kind of mindset that he said in John 9:4 :*
*”I must work the works of Him who sent me while it is day.”*
*The statement of Jesus above is asking us to be intentional,available, active and committed to God’s purpose in our lives.*
*You may want to ask that in what areas should someone get busy for God in our contemporary time?*
*A) Being engaged for God in His service:*
*We are expected to use our gifts in kingdom activities, like in our churches, community activities, and outreaches : ushering, teaching, music, tech, cleaning, visiting the sick,etc. The question is, in how many of these areas are you genuinely and uprightly involved?*
*B) Living your faith out by witnessing to other people. By this you must ensure that your character, expression of kindness, burden for the perishing are on your mind and actively expressed to others.*
*C) Supplication and Intercession : One of our critical duties is prayers. We have the responsibility to supplicate and Intercede for the nations, the perishing, the family, and the lost :*
*1 Thess 5:17 : Pray without ceasing.*
*D) Engaging our resources in giving. We must know that our time, our talent, our money should be deployed in meeting needs around us. Anything short of this will not be meeting the expectation of God.*
*We must understand that no excuse of any type is tenable before God in our usefulness for Him. This is apart from the fact that time waits for no man, keeping in mind that the night cometh, when no one can work.*
*Always keep in mind that several souls are perishing every minute, apart from the fact that people are all over the place terribly hurting, waiting for you to bring the Light of the Lord into their souls.*
*Please pay attention to the critical qualification of being available and willing to be used by God for his purpose and plans at this end time.*
*I think you have remained a spectator in your usefulness towards God long enough.*
*It is time for you to arise and become useful to Him in the best possible way you can.*
*And you will be surprised about those things you see as mountains in your life today. They shall move, and become history in your life soon.*
*Glory be to God for adding another year to our life today. Please remember us in your prayers 🙏*
