The Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji (FEDPOLEL), Ondo State, has said that its immediate past Registrar, Mr Gabriel Adeyemi Awe, has carved his name on gold with the exemplary services he provided during his tenure.

Giving this commendation while celebrating him at a memorable send-forth ceremony held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the institution, the Rector, Dr Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku, described Awe as a stickler for rules and a custodian of government policies.

A statement by the institution’s Deputy Registrar, Information, Protocol and Passages, Mr Sanmi Enigbokan, said Ebeloku commended Awe for introducing the e-Appraisal System for staff and for his five years of selfless, meritorious and impactful service to the Institution.

He praised the former Registrar for introducing the e-Appraisal System for staff and for his five years of selfless, meritorious and impactful service to the Institution.

His words, “As you bow out of this office, you are not bowing out of relevance. The Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji will continue to tap from your wealth of experience. You have written your name in gold in the history of this Institution, and history will be kind to you.”
