*We continue with business and career practices to be avoided, if you want to do well in life.*
*5) BRIBERY: Bribery is the offering of material or financial inducement with the intention of influencing the course of an outcome in a man’s favour.*
*Deuteronomy 10:[17] For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:*
*For a child of God, bribery is forbidden :*
*Job 15:[34] For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.*
*6) FRAUD :*
*The crime of stealing or illegally obtaining money or material by use of deception tactics. This is why it is also called – swindle, scam, deceit, grift.*
*Fraud can also be an act of deception carried out for the purpose of unfair, undeserved and/or unlawful gain.*
*Amos 5:[11] Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.*
*Just like when Jacob presented himself to their father – Isaac, that he was Esau, fraud is also the assumption of a false identity to achieve a deceptive end.*
*7) LOBBYING :*
*Lobbying is the process of employing actions to influence the decision-making process in favor of a specific opinion or cause.*
*Matthew 20: [20] Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.*
*[21]And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.*
*After the action of the mother of James and John above, there was massive irritation and ill-feeling among the 12 disciples, and the followership of Jesus Christ :*
*Matthew 20: [24] And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.*
*Please don’t ever assume that lobbying started today. It is an age long part of man that should be avoided.*
*8) ACCEPTING GREEK GIFT :*
*Please know that NOT all gifts are acceptable. The moment you notice that the presentation of a gift is meant to influence the direction of your decision, please don’t accept such :*
*Prov 15: [27] He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.*
*9) PARTIALITY :*
*Partiality is the act of displaying undue preference for one person over the others.*
*Proverbs 28: [21] To have respect of persons is not good: for a piece of bread that man will transgress.*
*Jam. 2:[9] But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.*
*Eze 13: [19] And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?*
*Please do well to avoid the above practices, so as not to put your business or your career in jeopardy, or endanger it.*
*And if for any reason, you are still engaging in or struggling with any of the above, I urge you to go to God to please help you purge yourself as may be appropriate or necessary unto God.*
