Following his victory in Saturday’s senatorial by-electio in Ondo South Senatorial District, Prof. Adedayo Francis Faduyile has thanked the Almighty,, President Bola Tinubu, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the people of the District
He attributed his electoral victory to God’s grace and thanked his departed father, King Faduyile, for the legacy he left behind, and his mother for her sacrifices and care throughout his upbringing.
Faduyile, in a statement, also commended President Tinubu for his leadership and lauded Governor Aiyedatiwa for his commitment to the development of Ondo State.
He expressed gratitude to the people of Ondo South Senatorial District for entrusting him with the mandate to represent them in the Senate, pledging to justify their confidence through dedicated, transparent and selfless service.
Also, he appreciated political leaders, supporters, friends and residents across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State for their prayers, encouragement and unwavering support during the electioneering process.
He acknowledged past and future occupants of the office, describing leadership as a sacred responsibility and calling for collective efforts towards the progress and prosperity of the people.
The senator-elect prayed for divine blessings upon everyone who contributed to his electoral success and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Ondo South with integrity.
The by-election held to fill the vacant seat of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim following his appointment as Nigeria’s permanent representative in the United Nations Assembly.
