Tinubu off to Europe for three-week vacation

President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Sunday for Europe to begin a three-week annual leave, with London, United Kingdom, as his first port of call.

Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday,

According to the statement, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave. His first stop will be London, United Kingdom.”

It added that the President would expectedly return to the country immediately after the vacation to join what he described as the “hectic campaign” for the January 2027 general election.

“President Tinubu is expected to return home after the working vacation to join the hectic campaign for the January 2027 election,” the statement added.

The President’s trip comes as political activities across the country continue to intensify ahead of the 2027 polls, with parties and aspirants ramping up preparations for the election season.

However, the statement did not disclose details of the President’s itinerary in London or other planned stops during the vacation.
