Davido and Dangote were pictured together during the event, days after the singer joined the Dangote Group President at Times Square as the refinery’s IPO campaign gained international visibility.
In a post on Instagram on Thursday, Davido said he had questions for Dangote, who he described as having the answers, while reflecting on their meeting.

“When two generations of Nigerian ambition meet, the conversation is worth listening to,” he wrote.
Davido also referenced his conversation with Dangote about the refinery’s public offer, which opened on September 14 and is scheduled to close on October 13, 2026.
The offer comprises 4.1 billion ordinary shares priced at N525 per share, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares.

The singer’s latest post comes two days after he shared a video showing himself and Dangote beneath the Nasdaq billboard displaying the message, “Made in Nigeria. Built for the World.”
