Celebration Celebrity Ondo State

A Senatorial hopeful for Ondo South Senatorial District on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Mathew Oye Oyerinmade, popularly called MATO has sent birthday wishes to one of the very few Pa. Obafemi Awolowo followers alive, a nongenerian political giant from Oke-Igbo, Ondo State, Pa Nathaniel Taiwo Fapohunda.

In his goodwill message which he personally signed, he hailed Pa. Fapounda for his political attainment, achievements and strong commitment to the course of the Progressives since the days of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Action Group (AG).

He also noted the fatherly role Pa. Fapounda is playing among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) not only in Ondo State, but in the whole of Southwest, as one of the strong pillars that still hold on to the political idealogy and democratic structure of the late sage, Pa. Awolowo.

According to the statement released by his media aide, Mr Yemi Akintomide, Oyerinmade who described himself as Pa Fapohunda’s “son”, said: “Our dear Papa, it has pleased the Almighty God to keep you alive, safe and sound for a record ninety years; thereby enlisting you among the very revered and prestigious club of Nongenerians.

“Papa, we all have a good reason to celebrate you today as you get wiser with age, get richer with age and even get older with age, in sound health and good character, surrounding your home with beautiful wives; Mama Comfort and Mama Janet, successful children, promising grand and great grand children.

“There is no better day to celebrate with you than this day that you attain the rare and privileged position of a Senior Citizen and a Nongenerian. Happy birthday, Pa. Nathaniel Taiwo Fapounda.

“Having the opportunity to wish you a happy birthday and celebrate the life of a great Nigerian and political giant like you is a true and worthy gift for me and all sons and daughters of our great town, Oke-Igbo and Ondo State at large.

“May the joy that you have spread in the past come back to you on this day. Wishing you a very happy birthday celebration in sound health, wealth, peace of mind and love you God.

“Many happy returns of the day, the Asiwaju of St. James African Church, Oke-Igbo and the Ariwajoye of Ila-Odo in Osun State.

“Omo ateni wijo, kerun oro moba gbon sile. Omo Odi, labe lakoso; Odi, nibare, nibarika.
