The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, has congratulated the Director-General of his campaign council, Oluwole Oke, on the occasion of his 59th birthday, describing him as a pivotal figure in the party’s quest for victory in the forthcoming governorship election.
Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, in a statement issued on Tuesday in Osogbo, praised Oke’s political pedigree and contributions, noting that his leadership within the campaign structure is already yielding positive momentum for the APC ahead of the August 15, 2026 poll.
He described the five-term member of the House of Representatives as a “political enigma” whose influence and experience in Osun politics remain significant, adding that his emergence as Campaign Director-General has strengthened the party’s cohesion and electoral prospects.
According to Oyebamiji, Oke’s track record in legislative service and grassroots mobilization has made him an invaluable asset, not only to his constituents but also to the broader political landscape of Osun State.
“Your incredible performance and compelling political profile are already speaking to the confidence we have in securing victory,” Oyebamiji said.
He commended the celebrant’s contributions at the National Assembly, particularly highlighting what he described as impactful and quality legislations that have positively affected his constituency and beyond.
The APC candidate further expressed confidence in Oke’s ability to galvanize support for the party, emphasizing that his leadership style and unifying approach would play a crucial role in the party’s campaign efforts.
“As our Campaign Director-General, your emergence has been a blessing. You have remained resolute and committed to the collective goal, and we are optimistic about your capacity to lead us to victory,” he added.
Oyebamiji also lauded Oke’s integrity and longstanding service, describing him as a source of inspiration to many within and outside the state.
He concluded by wishing the lawmaker good health, longevity, and continued success in his public service career.
Oke, who represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, is widely regarded as one of the influential figures within the APC in Osun State, with his role in the ongoing campaign expected to shape the party’s performance in the upcoming election.
