Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Odo-Otin and Ifelodun Local Government Areas have hailed a leading governorship aspirant, Barr. Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (SAN) popularly known as K-RAD — for presenting what they described as a pragmatic and visionary campaign blueprint.
They gave the commendation during Adegoke’s familiarization visits to Inisa and Ikirun over the weekend, where party leaders and stakeholders praised his bold ideas for agricultural transformation, land reform, and economic revitalization.
The APC elders said Adegoke has demonstrated both intellectual depth and practical understanding of Osun’s economic realities, particularly through his innovative agricultural land management and aggregation strategy, which they believe could revolutionize the state’s agricultural sector.
Comrade Poju Odusola, a party leader in Odo-Otin LGA.said, “K-RAD is not just a politician; he’s a movement ready to shine.
“His strategic, yet achievable approach to agricultural transformation is what Osun needs to take its place as a leader in agribusiness.”
Also, the party executives lauded Adegoke’s comprehensive plan to harness Osun’s natural and human resources, noting that his blueprint includes:
-
- Efficient land use and consolidation;
- Introduction of modern farming techniques;
- Creation of agricultural hubs across local governments;
- Support for SMEs through soft loans and grants,;
- Youth empowerment via 21st-century agro-skills training; and
- Attraction of both local and international investors.
Alhaji Asa, the APC Chairman in the LGA, emphasized K-RAD’s commitment to reviving the state’s economy through agriculture, describing his land management agenda as “a bold step toward food security and job creation.”
In Ifelodun LGA, Baba Lawuwo, a respected party elder, praised Adegoke’s clarity of purpose:
“We are inspired by his actionable plan to transform Osun’s agricultural landscape. His policies are rooted in reality and will uplift our communities economically.”
Echoing similar sentiments, other elders in the council described Adegoke’s campaign as a beacon of hope, stressing that his ideas would reduce the state’s overdependence on federal allocations and transform Osun into a thriving hub of agricultural and industrial activity in the Southwest.
Responding to the endorsements, Adegoke, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and respected technocrat, reaffirmed his mission to lead Osun into a new era of prosperity.
“Our goal is to create a conducive environment for investment in agriculture, mining, industrialization, and tourism. By modernizing land administration and aggregating farming resources, we will empower our farmers and the youth to drive real economic change,” he stated.
The APC elders called for support from party members and Osun residents, expressing confidence that Kunle Adegoke’s leadership would deliver tangible development and renewed hope for the people of the state.
