The conference, tagged “State of NYCN In Ondo State” held on Wednesday at the Multipurpose Hall of The Ministry of Youths and Sports

According to the Governor: “I can boldly mention that they (youths) are resourceful and some members of the NYCN executives will be added to the committee that will effect the action plans of the Ministry of Youths and Sports henceforth.”

He anchored the plans and resolve of his administration to give adequate attention to the youths on what he described as his strong conviction that the youths constitute the most significant hands that can pilot the affairs of the state and even the country.

He said that the future of Nigeria belongs to the youths.

In his opening speech, the chairman of NYCN in the state, Pathfinder Adewale Ogunmolawa commended the Governor for the support which his administration has been giving all the youths of Ondo State through the National Youth Council of Nigeria.

He implored the youths of the state who are among the registered affiliated bodies of the Council to continue to be refined in their character, words and actions as he strongly believes that “our state cannot flourish without the supportive hands of industrious and potential youths.”

Also, he advised other youth bodies which are not yet affiliated to NYCN in the state to do so, saying: “NYCN during my tenure is solely focused on what it was created for which is Youth Development.

“If any youth body has not affiliated with the current administration of the youth council, kindly do.
