The Omoluabi Progressives has congratulated the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s affirmation of Senator David Mark and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as its National Chairman, and Secretary.
It said that this affirmation, achieved against all odds and despite the alleged machinations of the All Progressives Congress, APC-led government aimed at frustrating the will of the people, marks a significant victory for democracy and a powerful testament to the resilience of the Nigerian spirit.
The group, in a statement by Abosede Busayo Oluwaseun, its Publicity and Organizing Secretary, said:
“This triumph is not merely symbolic — it is a clear testament that when Nigerians stand united and resolute, no amount of intimidation or manipulation can silence the collective voice of the people.
“Now is the time to consolidate this success by building bridges across our federation, fostering unity, and reinforcing the values that bind us together.
“As history has often shown, it always seems impossible—until it is done. Today, we proudly affirm: it is done.
“Together, we will continue to uphold democracy, demand accountability, and champion the dignity and progress of our people.”
