Preparations have commenced in earnest for the 2027 edition of the annual USE Festival, a significant cultural celebration that continues to embody the identity, heritage and enduring unity of the people of Ogosi-Afa in Okeagbe community, Ondo State.
The festival, which has over the years provided a platform for the people to celebrate their rich cultural heritage, strengthen communal bonds and promote the values and traditions of their forebears, is expected to attract sons and daughters of the community from within Nigeria and the diaspora.
As part of preparations for the forthcoming celebration, the Publicity Subcommittee of the festival has called on sons and daughters of Ogosi-Afa, Afa and the entire Okeagbe Kingdom to support the production of the 2027 USE Festival Anniversary Brochure through goodwill messages and advertisements.
In a statement issued on behalf of the High Chiefs, the Agbene Ogosi and the people of Ogosi-Afa, the committee described the annual festival as an opportunity for the community to celebrate its heritage while projecting its cultural identity to the wider world.
The committee urged individuals, families, corporate organisations, associations, clubs, groups, non-governmental organisations and other stakeholders to identify with the celebration by taking up advertisement and goodwill pages in the anniversary brochure.
According to the committee, the initiative would not only contribute to the success of the festival but also demonstrate commitment to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Ogosi-Afa and Okeagbe Kingdom.
For companies, associations and NGOs, a full-page advertisement is pegged at N150,000, while early payment made on or before November 15, 2026, attracts a discounted rate of N120,000. Payments between November 16 and December 15, 2026, will attract a rate of N130,000.
A half-page advertisement for the same category costs N100,000, with an early-payment rate of N80,000 before November 15 and N90,000 between November 16 and December 15.
For clubs, associations, groups and movements, a full page costs N50,000, with an early-payment rate of N40,000 up to December 15, while a half page is N30,000 or N20,000 for early payment within the stipulated period.
Individuals and families are expected to pay N50,000 for a full page, with an early-payment rate of N45,000, while a half page costs N30,000, reduced to N25,000 for early payment.
The committee also announced special-page rates of N200,000 each for the inner front page, inner back page and back cover, noting that the slots would be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
It, however, stated that all goodwill messages and advertisements must not exceed 50 words and should be submitted in PDF format, with the file size not exceeding 1MB.

The committee urged members of the community and other stakeholders to respond promptly to the call, stressing that the brochure would form an important part of the documentation and celebration of the 2027 USE Festival.
