About 500 voluntary offers have flooded in to help ailing veteran actor Alhaji Taiwo Babatunde Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, regain his radiant health.

Ogogo is battling stage four cancer according to his family members and as confirmed by experts.

This latest development was disclosed by a more elderly veteran actor Jide Kosoko, who said in a statement, that the flood of kind offers had created a major challenge for the family, particularly over how to move Ogogo from the hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

According to Kosoko, many of those who had reached out claimed to have spiritual, medical or other forms of assistance which they believed could help the actor.

This, he said exposed the family to the tough question of where to take Ogogo and how to move him safely while he remains under hospital care.

His words, “We have received offers from more than 300, and even over 500 people, each sincerely believing that they have something that could help him. The challenge is simply: Where do we take him to? And how do we move him from the hospital while he is receiving care?”

Kosoko explained that the inability to take Ogogo to those offering assistance should not be interpreted as a rejection of their goodwill or a lack of appreciation for their concern.

He said the decision was based largely on the difficulty of moving the actor from the hospital to different locations at this stage of his treatment.

Therefore, he appealed to those who had offered to assist Ogogo to understand the situation and continue offering their support from their respective locations.

Also, he urged Nigerians, fans and well-wishers across the world to continue praying for the actor’s recovery.

He said, “We are deeply touched by the overwhelming love and concern that people across the world have shown towards him.”

Kosoko expressed confidence that Ogogo would pull through, urging supporters to remain hopeful and continue praying for his recovery.

His words, “We believe strongly that, with your prayers, our prayers, and the mercy of Almighty God, Taye will come out of this situation successfully. There is nothing impossible before Almighty God.”
