Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 11, Bassey S. Ewah, has met with Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, to discuss ways of strengthening security cooperation and improving policing operations across the state.
The meeting formed part of Ewah’s familiarisation visit to the Oyo State Police Command on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, during which he also charged officers to uphold professionalism, discipline and integrity in the discharge of their duties.
According to a statement by the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji, the AIG stressed the need for strict compliance with operational standards and ethical conduct, describing them as essential to effective policing and public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force.
