An accident which occurred on Sunday morning, on the long bridge inward Lagos – Ibadan expressway has resulted in a gridlock.
The traffic congestion was caused by a fully laden fuel tanker which broke down on the outward section of Lagos – Ibadan Expressway spilling its content.
Motorists and commuters have since remained stranded as the gridlock spread to Otedola bridge, Ojodu, and other parts.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority according to a tweet on its official handle @followlastma said the traffic was caused as a result of the tanker spilling its content.
