FEDPOLEL immediate past Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Adeyemi Awe
The Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji (FEDPOLEL), Ondo State will send forth its immediate past and third substantive Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Adeyemi Awe, on October 6, 2026.
His five-year single tenure ended on September 9, 2026.
A statement on Sunday by the institution’s Deputy Registrar, Information, Protocol and Passages, Mr Sanmi Enigbokan, said the Rector, Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku, has approved a grand send-forth reception in Awe’s honour.
According to the statement, “The two-in-one programme is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, commencing with a novelty football match between the Academic and Non-Teaching Staff at the Polytechnic Sports Complex by 10:00 a.m.
“This will be followed by the grand reception at the Institution’s 1,500-capacity Multipurpose Auditorium by 12:00 noon.
“Expected at the event are members of the Polytechnic Community, friends of the Institution, as well as the celebrant and members of his family.”
Awe was appointed the third substantive Registrar of the Polytechnic for a five-year single tenure, from September 10, 2021 to September 9, 2026.
During his tenure, he reportedly made significant contributions to the governance and administration of the Institution.
Enigbokan said: “Notable among his contributions were the introduction of the Annual Registry Retreat, Registry Welfare Scheme and e-Appraisal for Staff Review, among other initiatives.
“The entire Polytechnic Community celebrates Mr. Gabriel Adeyemi Awe on this auspicious occasion and wishes him continued success and fulfilment in his future endeavours.”
