A one-day seminar on kidney failure prevention will hold at the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, FEDPOLEL, Ondo State, on Monday, May 4, 2026.
The programme aims at stemming the persistent rise in the prevalence of kidney failure in Nigeria.
The institution’s spokesman, Mr Sanmi Enigbokan, said in a statement on Sunday, that the programme would hold at the polytechnic’s 1,500-capacity Multipurpose Auditorium by 9:30 a.m. prompt.
According to him, “the medical team to be led by Prof. Akinbodewa Akinwumi, from ACE Kidney and Transplant Foundation, Ondo City, will be on ground to conduct the seminar, which is aimed at stemming the persistent rise in the prevalence of kidney failure in Nigeria.”
He added that, “to ensure a hitch-free exercise, Management has directed ALL Members of the Polytechnic Community to attend the programme punctually and without fail.”
