President Muhammadu Buhari has debunked the allegation that he ordered the dethronement of former Kano Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II.
A former Kano Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso had accused Buhari of ordering the dethronement and banishment of Sanusi to Awe town in Nasarawa state on Monday.
But Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity Mallam Garba Shehu, while debunking the allegation on Wednesday on his twitter handle, described the insinuations as untrue, malicious and politically motivated .
