President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is a monumental failure that has subjected Nigerians to untold hunger, poverty, and insecurity, which deserves to be voted out in the next election according to the interim national secretary of the Action Democratic Congress, ADC, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

The former Osun State governor, and ex-Interior minister made this scathing remark while addressing a mammoth crowd of supporters and party faithful who came out to welcome him back to the stare at his Oramiyan house in Osogbo, on Sunday.

He said the present All Progressives Congress’s administration has disconnected from the suffering of the Nigerian people.

According to him, Tinubu administration has shown little or no concern for the social and economic hardships being endured across the country.

He said, rather the administration is more interested in consolidating personal power than addressing the pains of the people.

Aregbesola said. “Their government has brought starvation, suffering, and betrayal to Nigerians. It is time for a change, and the ADC is ready to deliver that change in 2027.”

He said the ADC is  determined to rescue Nigeria from the stranglehold of the APC, which he accused of deception, insensitivity, and bad governance.

But he assured that the ADC will not only take over at the federal level in the 2027 general elections but will also wrestle power from the ruling PDP in Osun during the coming 2026 governorship election.

Aregbesola’s words, “We will take over the government House in 2026,

“The people of Osun deserve better. The ADC is here to offer real leadership and transformative governance, not empty promises.

“The present government in Nigeria is not building a nation. It is building a fiefdom. But the people are wiser now,

“Let every one of you go back home and begin house-to-house mobilisation. Talk to your neighbours, your families, your communities. The change we seek will come through the ballot box.”

The former governor stressed that the ADC is emerging as the only credible alternative to the APC and PDP, which he claimed have both failed to meet the aspirations of Nigerians.

“We are not here to deceive the people. We are here to rebuild this nation with integrity, vision, and people-centered governance,” he added.

Expressing deep appreciation to the people of Osun, Aregbesola thanked them for their consistent loyalty, love, and support.

He assured them that those who stand by the ADC will reap the benefits of good governance and progressive leadership.

“Osun people, you have always stood by me, and I will never forget your sacrifices.

“The time has come for us to rewrite the story of this state and of our country.

“With your votes and your voices, ADC will rise, and Nigeria will rise again”.

The rally in Osogbo signals a significant turning point in the build-up to the 2026 and 2027 elections, as Aregbesola positions himself and the ADC as the leading voices in Nigeria’s political realignment
