Lenten season: Osun Amotekun boss greets Christians, urges peace in Osun

Osun State Amotekun Corps Commander, Dr. Adekunle Omoyele, has urged peace in the state as he greeted Christians beginning another Lenten season.

He sent them a message, stressing the importance of maintaining unwavering prayers for the peace, harmony, and continued tranquility of the state during this sacred period.

In a statement released to the media in Osogbo, the Corps Commander conveyed his deep appreciation for the commitment of the Christian community and their role in fostering unity and peace.

Also he urged all Christians to remain steadfast in their prayers, asking for divine intervention in ensuring the safety and security of all residents in the state.

He said. “During this Lenten season, I call on all Christians in Osun to continue to pray for the peace and progress of our state.

“This is a time for reflection, spiritual growth, and dedication to the betterment of our communities. Through our collective prayers, we can achieve the peace and harmony we all desire in Osun.”

He also encouraged residents of the state to work together in unity, reinforcing the message of peace and cooperation that the Amotekun Corps strives to uphold in all its operations.
