Amotekun Corps has reassured Osun State residents of its commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property following the conclusion of the recent local government elections.
In a statement issued in Osogbo, the Corps Commander, Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, emphasized that there is no cause for panic regarding the security situation in the state.
He assured that the Amotekun Corps remains on high alert and prepared to swiftly respond to any threats to public peace.
Omoyele urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the Amotekun Corps or other security agencies.
He reiterated that the security of Osun State remains a top priority and warned that individuals engaging in violence or unlawful acts would face immediate arrest and prosecution.
Addressing concerns over the noticeable presence of security operatives across the state, Dr. Omoyele stated that the deployment of police officers should not be a cause for alarm, as they were sent for specific assignments.
The Corps Commander reaffirmed that Amotekun is dedicated to maintaining peace and security, urging the public to remain calm and cooperative in safeguarding their communities.
