The Federal Government on Monday November 4, delivered palliatives to sea incursion victims of Ayetoro Community in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
While delivering the items at the Igbokoda Naval Base, the representative of the Minister of Regional Development, Hon Engineer Abubakar Momoh, the Onibudo of Ugboland, Chief ‘Wole Iroaye, said: “These palliatives are from the Presidency through the Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Hon. Engineer Abubakar Momoh, FNSE.
“They are not for women alone; they are not for men alone; they are not for the youths alone. There must be no discrimination in the distribution. The items are meant for the entire Ayetoro Community.
“We have been asked by the Presidency through the office of the Honourable Minister of Regional Development to deliver a truck of rice to the Ayetoro Community.
“This is the mandate we have from the Honourable Minister, Hon. Engineer Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, and it is to the knowledge of the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. And we are doing this in company of the Ondo State Government’s representatives.”
