After rain comes sunshine, after darkness comes the glorious dawn. There is no sorrow without its alloy of joy; there is no joy without its admixture of sorrow; behind the ugly terrible mask of misfortune lies the beautiful soothing countenance of Prosperity. So, tearing the mask! – Obafemi Awolowo aka Awo ,the inimitable greatest, redoubtable politician and philosopher-king of our time .
It is inescapable our dearest country, Nigeria will certainly pass through these trying and harrowing self imposed strains and stress due to our pig-headed approach to governance over the years.
Americans, Europeans to mention just two, stay put and develop their own countries to advance economies. It is we Africans that will develop Africa and wake up the sleepy giant to possess her destiny in the comity of modern nations in the arena of international politics. We shall not be recolonised again through the back door .
May we be guided and given a positive heart to choose credible leadership gifted with far sighted vision and wide horizon beyond the ordinary to lift Nigeria from the present quaqmire of under development and its attendant suffering, grumblings and endless complaints’ galore in the midst of plenitude .
God bless our country men /women, our children and others resident within our gate .
