Two Nigerian students from Osun State have emerged the best again at the final examinations of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University\’s Medical School, Kharkiv, Ukraine.
The two students: Mustapha Lateefat Kemi, a native of Okuku, in Osun State had the highest mark, while Adebayo Rukayat Abiodun, a native of Ede, also in Osun State, was the second highest in the last batch of the students who were sponsored to complete their medical studies in Ukraine by the Osun State Government in 2012.
Eagle Online reports that another student, Oyeleye Lateefah Abiola, had also emerged the best graduating student in 2017 when the first batch of the students graduated.
The Karazin Kharkiv National University is 213 years old, having been founded in November 1804.
The University is the only one in Ukraine that has produced at least three Nobel Prize laureates.
The institution is one of the oldest and leading universities in Eastern Europe.
