– promises restructuring
– says naira would be at par with dollar
The Presidential Candidate of Nigeria Democratic Congress Party, Dr. Johnson Edosomwan has decried the rate of unemployment of the youths in the country promising 7 million jobs every year if voted in.
Edosomwan while speaking with members of the party in the South West at Ibadan, Oyo state capital assured that with the plan of the party, the issue of unemployment would be a thing of the past.
He said: “my government is of the people, by the people and for the people” saying the suffering of the masses have been a big concern to him.
His words: “With NDCP in power at the centre, the value of the naira will be be head to head with dollar that is N1 to $1.”
He lamented that only few people are enjoying the dividends of democracy in Nigeria saying the party has it in the pipeline to restructure the entire national system.
“It is rather unfortunate that some of my friends who are Nigerians are afraid to come home and those who come home, were pushed out of the country. But I am at home now to help my people who are wallowing in abject poverty out of their suffering”, he stressed.
Edosomwan noted that NDCP as a party is a voice for the suffering Nigerians. “There are darkness, suffering and corruption in this country and God has come to deliver this country through NDCP.”
“We cannot do anything without the support of our people and we are out to sacrifice our resources to better the lot of the people in this our great nation,” he said
The Presidential candidate pointed out that the economic blue print of the party gives priority to women, saying if we can empower women, we will feed the nation, as they are the backbone of the family.
He added that the manifesto of the party is tailored towards the betterment of the people of the country.
