There is hardly any disease that is as dreaded as cancer. In all parts of the world, it is the most feared and it is not what anyone would wish for his enemies. The reason is simple: It goes about brandishing death firmly enfolded in its clutches. Doctors and researchers who preoccupy themselves with it have carried out unceasing studies into it and their conclusion is often, although arguably, that it is incurable. According to a doctor, the mortality rate is 98 per cent. Dr. Olusegun Adebanjo says that means if cancer appears, it will already be too late to do anything. It is the most dangerous pathology. Everyone is afraid of it because there is no cure for it. Millions are spent every year in research into the stubborn disease and its cure. Yet, it has so far been impossible to put it in check, to bring it under control. The cancer comes in different forms, so there is the cancer of the colon, lymphatic cancer which attacks the red or white corpuscles, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, skin cancer and lung cancer to name just a few.
When a person goes for a medical check and he is told by the doctor, no matter how gently and reassuringly put, that he has symptoms of cancer the heart sinks. It is regarded as a death sentence. From then on, nothing would seem to matter in the life of the afflicted. Tears run uncontrollably down the cheeks! The lamentation from then on is: ‘Why me? Lord, why me?’ The relations become confused. When they regain composure, they announce the resolve to wrestle it to the ground. It must be fought; a voice rings out. It is the voice of the husband, of a loved one, or the father’s! The family runs from pillar to post. Cancer is no respecter of age or social status. The powerful is cowed by its affliction. The wealthy and influential as well as the ordinary man, the poor die of cancer.
There is a very touching appeal making the rounds in social media and on television at the moment for an urgent help to be rushed to save a life. And hold it, whose life? The life of a celebrity, Nollywood Star Taiwo Hassan with the stage name, Ogogo. The distraught daughter, Kira, said amid tears that the affliction has reached such a frightening stage, what she called Stage 4, that her father is not even any longer fit to be flown overseas. She said what the family is seeking is not financial support but healing even if it comes through herbal remedy options. In her words: “His Indian visa came out but he’s not fit to fly…so if you have anyone that can help us please”. Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi is on standby to finance the trip but the Actor, Ogogo, is weak and not in a state to withstand any air travel as of now. According to the daughters, Lima and Kira, Adeola Yayi has all along been the one helping out financially.
What makes the situation more bothersome and distressing to them is that because the ailment has reached the said Stage 4, he can no longer undergo chemotherapy. What they are, therefore, seeking are medical professionals and facilities to help out. Taiwo Hassan himself said he had battled the illness for seven years. His condition has naturally sent jitters within the circles of his colleagues in the acting world. A doctor, wading in, is quick to counsel the family against resorting to any herbal options, warning that doing so might complicate matters. After Stage 4, according to the doctor is what he has described as “end-of-life care.” What that next demands of the family is making the afflicted happy; he should be made to experience show of love and care “pending the time the end would come to the life of such a person. Stage 4 cancer is not curable, it’s curable when it is in Stage 1 or 2.”
However, another medical professional, an oncologist, who is an admirer of Taiwo Hassan, has a different view. The man said that from his experience as a Nigerian who works in oncology, he would like to educate but not give medical advice because he is not availed details of the diagnosis, “but to help others understand what Stage 4 cancer means. Stage 4 generally means that the cancer has spread from its original or primary site to another part of the body. Unfortunately, metastatic/stage 4 is generally not considered curable. But that does no mean it cannot be treated”. He then went on to list what treatment may involve, such as hormone therapy, targeted therapy, radiation, immunotherapy, chemotherapy or a combination of the treatments. “The goal may be to control the cancer, slow its progression, manage symptoms, and help the patient live as well and as long as possible…If the medical team has determined that the body cannot safely tolerate treatment, then treatment may shift from trying to control the cancer to palliative/supportive care, focusing on comfort. Symptom management, dignity, and quality time with the family… And to everyone reading this: cancer is not one disease. Stage 4 is not a treatment plan. The details matter.”
Indeed, Dr. Guruprasad Reddya who seems to be speaking in the same vein believes that no one must die of cancer except out of carelessness. According to Aba Saheed Forum, a social media platform, Reddya quoting research by Maryland College of Medicine, says: “First step is to stop all sugar intake, without sugar in your body, cancer cell would die a natural death.” He himself is of B.V OSH State Medical University, Moscow, Russia. He says in what sounds like a herbal remedy, the “Second step is to blend a whole lemon fruit with a cup of hot water and drink it for about 1-3 months first thing before food and cancer would disappear.” He references the Maryland College of Medicine which he quotes as saying “the remedy is 1000 times better than chemotherapy.”
That must certainly raise hope of an effective management of the ailment. I have quoted experts this much in order to enlighten the public; get the experts to ventilate their views, especially those of a medical oncologist because of the dread, alarm and the cold shivers the disease strikes in the mind and the spine of all mankind.
In our search for an answer, however, the dimension that hardly crosses the mind is the spiritual angle. Cancer arises when the spirit is impeded and is unable to exert animating influence on the body, which is composed of elementary particles consisting of spirit motes, which may be called atomic particles. In the revelation of the Grail Message, “In the Light of Truth” by Abd-ru-shin, we are told: “Every earthly action can only be considered as the outward expression of an inward process.” As it has been stated a few times in these pages: Man’s problems are earthly in consequence but are spiritual in cause because we are spiritual beings. There is hardly any experience of a people or of an individual that does not have a spiritual underpinning. Again, because we are spiritual beings! What then are the causes of cancer? One of them is when the cells are hampered in their normal functioning. Everything hangs on the state of the cells and the liver. In practically every case of cancer, it is shown that the liver has been weakened or damaged. Dr. Adebayo says under unfavourable conditions, cells divide incorrectly. And when there are many such errors, abnormal cells appear and begin to divide as well.
“Exactly from such cells, a cancerous tumour is made. And that is why every cancerous tumour grows over time. Poor and insufficient blood circulation in the internal organs creates exactly these unfavourable conditions in which cells can divide incorrectly. Vascular cleaning eliminates these conditions…Consequently, after vascular cleaning immunity is strengthened almost immediately.” Attractive and persuasive as the postulation appears, it still relates to the externals. I dare state that it still does not address the spiritual underpinning. The knowledge of the very being of man and what constitutes its structure is what is called for to have an understanding of the disease of cancer.
Man is spirit, soul and earthly body. The spirit and the soul are encased in the body. It is the discarding of the body, that is the physical body that is called death. The man moves away as soul consisting of the ethereal and the animistic cloaks. There is also the astral model body, which is a bridge between the soul and the body. And as soon as the earthly body is laid aside, the departing soul pulls out the astral body. The human body is composed of cells which are the building-stones of the individual organs in the body and in cell is a nucleus.
Encompassing the nucleus is protoplasm. In the nucleus itself are to be found chromosomes in which genetic information is stored. All processes in the cell are regulated within the nucleus. These include the all-important cellular respiration–above all.
Now, let us go and sit at the feet of Herbert Vollmann to acquire knowledge and learn wisdom. In his unique work, “A Gate Opens”, we are told about the wonders of Creation and the Wisdom of the Most High that put it together. He reveals other components of the cell which are not visible to the physical eye. “To these belong for instance minute spirit particles, which stream from spiritual power centres lying far above Paradise of men right down to us into the world of Gross matter, where they give rise to the formation of elementary particles and atoms.
“They are of course also found in the cell molecules, which are composed of atoms, and they have contact with the spiritual radiation of the human spirit incarnated in the physical body. For this reason, they deserve special attention in the investigation into the cause of cancer. Today, the radiation of the human spirit is greatly weakened and dimmed through the predominantly materialistic attitude of earthmen, which is directed to this world. Therefore, the radiation is hardly able any longer to exert an animating influence on the functions of the cells and organs in order to achieve a ‘radiant health’”.
When we then add the environmental pollution, the emission of toxins and carbon to the already weakened animating influence of the spirit and the irritation of the cells, the structure of cell molecules is so altered that the regulation of the cells is impaired. Because they can no longer receive the right information, faulty regulation ensues which affects cellular respiration and the oxygen supply gradually fails. What then follows is fermentation of cells, and together with the substances of nutrient fluid; unchecked increasing growth gives rise to cancerous tumour in the final stage of a prolonged spiritual and physical disturbance. The degeneration and uncurbed growth of the affected cells spread and permeate the surrounding healthy parts of the body, to the bloodstream leading to cancerous formations what doctors call metastases—until it gets dangerously to one of the most important organs in the body, the liver! If the liver becomes diseased, it is no longer able to break down various toxins. These will penetrate into blood circulation and cause unceasing irritation in the cell tissue and so create the soil for cancer. In normal activity, everything is carefully sifted and filtered and converted in the liver. In the process, toxins are broken down, rendered harmless and secreted. Hence, the liver requires constant good blood circulation. A healthy liver thus ensures pure blood.
From the foregoing, the importance of cells can unmistakenly be seen. It is everything as the body is composed of cells; all organs are derived from cells. Vollmann states that at the beginning of the embryonic development there are no differing cells. Only during the development of the growing child’s body do the cells differentiate one from the other and form the individual organs of the body. The cells unite into different organs and are regulated in such a way that out of them are formed the heart, the brains, the liver, the lymphatic system. These are the handiwork of the Forces of Nature that have taken on form and are called Nature Beings.
According to Herbert Vollmann, “On the astral plane which lies nearest to the World of Matter, to the earthly, they create the astra body as model, as a prototype, after which the child’s body is only subsequently formed. In this astral body, which is of finer matter, the whole design of the body, after which the corresponding cells then unite into organs and so on, must therefore be pre-formed or ‘programmed’ by way of radiation. The astral body or astral cloak is an important connecting link between spirit, soul and body during the whole earth-life. With physical death it disintegrates.”
The presence of astral body is felt when a part of the body is severed, say a finger, an arm or a limb and what are known as phantom-pains occasionally occur. The pains occur because the astral model of the part is not severed. It is pulled out by the soul only at death. We can see how much effort and care went into forming and giving us a body by the Nature Beings at the behest of the Almighty Creator and how much we have to answer for the misuse to which we have subjected these gifts, through reckless lifestyle and environmental pollution, stuffing the body with toxins and similar harmful emissions and practices.
The liver, more than other digestive organs in the body, is also subject to the influence of the frame of mind. Care must, therefore, be taken that the relationship between the spirit, the soul and the body is not disarranged.
