Afenifere Chieftain Oluwole Wins PDP House Of Reps Primary for Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency

An Afenifere chieftain, Hon (Dr.) Eric Oluwole has emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to contest the Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives in the next election.

According to a statement on Monday by the Hon Eric Oluwole for House of Representatives Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency Media Team,  he emerged victorious after being overwhelmingly returned at the party’s primary election conducted at the weekend at Citadel Hall in Ondo City.

The exercise was supervised by the PDP Primary Election Panel Chairman, Mr Ariyo Moses Adeola; and Panel Secretary, Mr Ijanusi Gbenga.

While announcing the primary’s results, and declaring Oluwole winner of the exercise, Adeola said that Oluwole had emerged the PDP House of Representatives candidate for the Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency, having satisfied the requirements of the party in accordance with the Electoral Act, and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In his acceptance speech, Oluwole thanked all the participants at the primary, and particularly his constituents, and the party’s leadership for the trust reposed in him to represent the constituency in the House of Representatives.

He said his victory was for all in the constituency, declaring that there was no victor or vanquished, as he pledged selfless service to all his constituents.

Oluwole commended the PDP leadership at the national, state, council, and ward levels, starting from the Federal Capital Territory minister Mr Nyesom Wike, for their leadership.
