Renewed Hope Ambassadors Restructure Osun Leadership to Boost Grassroots Mobilisation

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Osun State have announced a sweeping restructuring of their leadership framework, appointing new officials across zonal, directorate, departmental, and support units in a strategic move aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation and political engagement.

The announcement was made by the State Secretariat under the leadership of its Director, Ambassador Oluomo Sunday Akere, who said the reorganisation is designed to expand the group’s reach and enhance coordination across all local government areas and wards in the state.

As part of the new structure, Ishola Yinka-Diamond has been appointed Secretary of the Secretariat. At the zonal level, Hon. Bayo Olodo will coordinate activities in the West Zone, Hon. Sola Oladepo takes charge of the Central Zone, while Mr. Segun Omowarare will oversee the East Zone.

The organisation also unveiled key directorate heads to drive its core operations. Dr. Isiaka Owoade will head Finance, Ayodele Asalu Asler takes charge of Mobilisation, while Barrister Amos Adekunle leads Security. Dr. Emmanuel Monye has been appointed Director of Research and Development, with Mr. Kayode Oladeji heading Media and Publicity. Professor Aderemi Ajala will oversee Legal and Risk Management, Ademola Adeyeye leads Youth Affairs, and Olufunmilayo Olatunde, popularly known as Bumac, coordinates Women Affairs.

At the departmental level, Engr. Kola Anwo and Muyiwa Asalu will supervise the Support Group, while Dr. Olawale Tijani heads Public Affairs and Engagement. Youth Affairs will be coordinated by Balogun Adeolu and Adeyinka Esho, with Olanrewaju Taofeek and Tunde Dairo handling Operations. Aminat Atobatele leads Women Affairs, Oluwasegun Oluwadare heads Welfare, and Agbogunleri Seun Michael coordinates Inter-Party Outreach.

In the media departments, Funsho Fagboungbe will head New Media, while Olutunmibi Olufunke takes charge of the Electronic unit. The Print unit will be led by Miftau Adebowale alongside Dare Babajide and Omolebi Segun. Multimedia operations will be driven by Alao Adeolu, Karonwi Festus, and Sulaiman Gafar, with Ayelabola Lawal and Tosin Oyeniyi serving as Content Creators.

The Photography team will be handled by Alawode Taofeek and Ayodele Fagbohungbe.
To strengthen operational efficiency, several assistant director roles were also filled. Ebenezer Fajemirokun was named Assistant Director of Finance, while Adeola Olayiwola will serve as Assistant Director of Security. Lara Ikotun assumes the role of Assistant Director of Mobilisation, supported by Aare Olalekan Balogun as Co-Assistant. Adejoke Oyin-Adejobi will serve as Assistant Director of Women Affairs.

Further appointments include Tosin Agbonmagbe and Arije Abdullahi as Assistant Heads of New Media, with Omolebi Segun serving as Co-Assistant. Henry Adedapo was named Assistant Head of Electronic, supported by Salahudeen A. Adisa, while Olaore Taiwo will serve as Assistant Head of Multimedia with Melvins Idris Ayinde as support.

Speaking on the development, Ambassador Akere urged the newly appointed officers to hit the ground running, emphasising the importance of dedication, expansive grassroots outreach, and sustained political engagement.

He expressed confidence that the new leadership team would justify the trust placed in them and significantly strengthen the organisation’s presence and impact across communities in Osun State.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Osun State, is a frontline socio-political group focused on grassroots mobilisation, promoting inclusive governance, and advancing the Renewed Hope agenda across the state.
