The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, will open its online registration portal for prospective corps members from March 12 to March 18, 2026.

This was announced in a notice posted on the corps’ official social media platforms on Friday.

It said only graduates whose names appear on the approved Senate or Academic Board lists submitted by their respective institutions will be eligible to take part in the mobilisation registration.

The agency stated that the portal would remain accessible within the specified period to allow qualified graduates to complete their online registration.

It added that only candidates whose results have been approved by their institutions’ Senate or Academic Board and subsequently uploaded to the NYSC database would be permitted to proceed with the registration process.

The scheme advised prospective corps members to visit its official website and social media platforms for detailed guidelines and information on the registration procedure.

The NYSC also urged applicants to carefully verify their personal details before commencing the process to avoid errors.

In addition, prospective corps members were reminded to ensure that the names on their records with the National Identity Management Commission correspond exactly with the names appearing on the Senate list and the NYSC portal.

Graduates were further advised to confirm that their names match those on their certificates or statements of results.

The scheme encouraged applicants to verify their details through the Senate list verification portal before proceeding with the online registration.
