Osun State Government has released the names of the first batch of successful applicants recruited into public primary and secondary schools across the state.
The announcement was made on Friday by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi.
Alimi directed all successful applicants to check their names online or at designated government offices, including the Osun State Civil Service Commission, Osun State Ministry of Education, the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), and the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) headquarters in Osogbo.
He further disclosed that successful candidates are expected to begin collecting their letters of appointment from Monday, March 9, 2026.
According to the commissioner, the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, congratulated the shortlisted applicants and urged them to see their appointments as an opportunity to serve the state.
Adeleke also charged the new teachers to contribute their best with diligence and commitment toward improving the quality of education in the state.
The governor equally appreciated all applicants for their patience and support during the recruitment process, noting that the exercise forms part of the administration’s broader efforts to reposition the education sector in Osun State.
