*Humility is a powerful human behaviour.*
*It is the ability to put on modesty and meekness as your human character.*
*Humility allows you to stay grounded and appreciate so much around you and in your life*
*Please consider the following examples :*
*1) Moses : A great leader who asked God to choose someone else to lead Israel. This was after God had promised and assured him that He (God) would be with him all the way through the assignment of leading Israel to the promised land- (Exodus 3:11, Exodus 4:10-13).*
*2) David : the great king of Israel who referred to himself as “a worm and no man” (Psalm 22:6).*
*3) Mary (Mother of Jesus). She said “I am the Lord’s servant” – (Luke 1:38).*
*4) John the Baptist : He described himself as “a voice of one calling in the wilderness” (John 1:23).*
*5) Paul (earlier known as Saul). He called himself “the least of the apostles” (1 Corinthians 15:9).*
*These individuals demonstrated humility despite their significant roles and accomplishments in their journeys of life.*
*Humility is a trait and virtue that is often overlooked but it’s one of the most important qualities a person should have in his human relationship with others going forward in life.*
*Unfortunately, we live at a time and in a society where hubris, instead of humility is demonstrated without restraint.*
*Before you can genuinely claim that a fellow is humble, he should have been exposed to power or tested with money, yet without betraying himself.*
*Humility was expressly displayed in the life of Moses as mentioned above.*
*In fact, the Bible described Moses as the “most meek man on earth” in his generation (Num.12:3).*
*Humility allows you to focus on your goals and work diligently behind the scenes, thereby ensuring you build something great without the need for so much noise or attention.*
*When the time comes for others to discover your accomplishments, their surprise would serve as a testament to the power of hard work and dedication all does in humility.*
*Stay humble and let your success speak quietly for itself.*
*I tell you, humility will take you a long way forward, and a long way upward.*
