The blood is the connecting bridge between body and spirit. This is a fact already recognized by Chinese and Ayurvedic Healing as far back as about five thousand years back.

Modern Western Medicine is yet to fully come to terms with the non physical aspects of energy generated and expended by the human body. The other non physical energy is referred to as Psychic Energy, and it is more of the functions of the blood than the body.

The quality of the human electromagnetic field know as aura is determined solely by the energetic composition of the blood, of which our diets are major contributing factors.

Having clarified how our food eventually becomes glucose, amino acids, fats and oils, it is necessary to now move a further step towards the recognition of the fact that apart from our glucose being burnt to generate calories of physical energy, subtler forms of energy are also being generated.

This is what is known as Psychic Energy, called Chi in Chinese, and Prana in Hindu. These ancient healing knowledge postulates that the sources of Energy (Prana or Chi) are not limited to the food we eat alone, but also includes sources from the sun and directly through the earth, our foods being an indirect earth source.

When we consider many things that the mind can achieve over matter, we will come to appreciate this non physical energy.

Manifestations of this subtle energy includes, but not limited to Telepathy, Hypnosis, Clairvoyance, Claircognition, and other such psychic phenomena.

It has been established that wrong diets can cause insomnia, hallucinations and nightmares. All these points to the fact that our diet not only determine our physical health, but also our psychic health as well.

No two bloods are exactly the same, even though they may be of same group. Each person therefore need to consider which diets are particularly good for him, and which diets he needs to abstain from.

Some foods which are quite okay for some persons may cause health problems in others. A common example is the seemingly increasing gluten sensitivity being experienced by many people.
Also, it is important to note that we are all not of same temperaments. And even for an individual, the temperament changes with age.

Taking strict notice of the effects of different foods we eat on both our physical and psychic health will go a long way in having an overall vibrant health.

Two points about our food that are of vital importance when considering their effects on the blood are:

  1. Each one must feed the body mainly with foods produced from the particular geographic region where he is born into, because those foods will be best for his particular blood radiation.
  2. Balance must be maintained between vegetarian and meat diets as both are important for normal blood radiation.
