*The greatest victories are victories recorded after a comeback.*
*When God created the heavens and the earth in Genesis chapter one, the earth never expected darkness to cover its space, and rendered it void and formless :*
*Gen 1:[1]In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.*
*[2]And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.*
*Why the victory of the earth was unique in Genesis chapter one was because darkness never expected any comeback of LIGHT.*
*Light was never in the original plan as far as darkness was concerned. But God knew the solution to darkness :*
*Gen 1: [3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.*
*I may not know how far down the line of failure or crushing you might have gone, but I know you can still come back if you are indeed serious about your desire and determination.*
*When the Word of God says :*
*Philippians 4: [13] I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.*
*This includes being able to come back from a point of great failure or setback to the point of enviable success and victory.*
*By every standard, a widow is a person in a very challenging condition having lost a husband. But when the widow now has two extra mouths to cater for, you will agree with me that is much.*
*Now when the widow has nothing to rest on in terms of material support, that situation becomes very daunting, you may want to say.*
*But when such a widow has debts to pay, to a level that creditors now seek to take not just one of the two boys, but the whole two of them, you will agree with me that great will be the headache of the woman.*
*2 Kings 4:[1] Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.*
*But when nobody came to her rescue, she took her case to God for intervention.*
*2 Kings 4:[2] And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil.*
*By the time God was done intervening in her matter, she became the first oil magnate in the whole Bible :*
*2 Kings 4: [3] Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.*
*[4]And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.*
*[5] So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.*
*[7] Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.*
*Peninnah never thought it was possible for Hannah to stage a comeback in conception, fruitfulness and child delivery.*
*This was the reason for her mocking Hannah for her state of childlessness :*
*1 Samuel 1:[2] And Elkanah had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.*
*[6]And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.*
*[7]And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.*
*But Hannah did stage a comeback and became the mother of Samuel and other 5 children :*
*1 Sam 2: [21] And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.*
*I may not know how far you have gone down the line of failure, denial, and retrogression, but I know of a God who can bring you to stage a comeback of success and victory if you turn your life over to him :*
*Matt 11: [28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.*
*If you do not relent in God, I see Him coming through for you, and changing your story for good.*
