Yoruba youths plan meeting of South West Stakeholders to ensure peace in 2023 elections

The National President of Yoruba Youth Council, Comrade Eric Oluwole has said that he will soon call for a meeting of prominent leaders in the South West Region to discuss the security of the region, especially as it relates to the scheduled 2023 General Elections in the zone.

He spoke during a special seminar for all the youth stakeholders in the region, organized by the Council.

Oluwole, as the National Leader of Yoruba Youths, warned those politicians alleged to be thinking of turning the region into a battle field during the elections to perish such thought.

In a statement on Friday, he said: “Under my leadership as a youth leader in the South West, I don’t want any bloodshed. So any politician or anybody else who has planned attack against others in the Region in mind should desist with immediate effect.”

He urged the Yoruba elders to be more united in the interest of the people
