The All Progressives Congress on Friday elected a new set of national officers during its National Convention held at Eagle Square in Abuja.
Professor Nentawe Yilwatda was returned as the National Chairman of the APC, while Surajudeen Basiru emerged as the National Secretary at the party’s 4th Elective National Convention held on Friday night at Eagle Square, Abuja.
Their emergence was announced by the Convention Election Committee as part of several party officials elected through a consensus arrangement.

The convention was attended by top leaders of the ruling party, including President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
It also drew party leaders and delegates from across the country who gathered to elect the new National Working Committee members expected to steer the affairs of the ruling party.
