Ahead of the World Immunization Day on November 10, 2025, the Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Osun State Directorate, Mr. Adebiyi Stephen Adefarasin, has called on all residents to recognize and embrace immunization as a vital tool for public health and disease prevention.
He urges parents and guardians to ensure that their children and wards complete all routine immunizations.
Besides, the agency encourages adults to stay up to date on vaccines such as Hepatitis B and COVID-19, while supporting public health campaigns and actively dispelling myths and misinformation about vaccines.
This year’s theme, “Vaccine for All: Protecting Our Future Together,” highlights the importance of inclusive and accessible vaccination in safeguarding individuals and communities from preventable diseases such as measles, polio, tetanus, and influenza.
According to the agency, “By working together, we can strengthen Osun State and Nigeria as a whole through collective commitment to immunization and public health.”
