The earth, as a living component of the wider Creation that she is, must be looking forward to the festive months of December and January, each year when the majority of the population of human beings devote time to ‘traditionally’ exchange prayerful goodwill messages/wishes for the approaching ‘new year’. Typical of us earth dwellers, we would always create special moments to motivate ourselves into doing things that we ordinarily ought to naturally be doing every moment of our lives. We daily waste opportunities to express our genuine love, care, and joy-filled prayers to and for one another; while waiting for other days and occasions that may never come.
Even persons who may never have spoken to each other throughout the passing year still find enough reasons to exchange positive wishes and even pray for one another to experience better days ahead. This culture of using December and January to felicitate with friends and relatives is, however, healthy and should be practiced all through every day, week, and month of each year. Why?
Wishes are things, and indeed are alive as every other living thing. Every heartfelt wish goes out into creation like seeds sown and do germinate and bloom for harvesting by the sower. This is unavoidable and automatic. When we send out wishes to another, we automatically become farmers, cultivating the fields of creation. In due time the core content of the wish returns to us, the same way chickens come home to roost. The good thing, though, is that not all wishes do come to pass and germinate seeds. Many are weak and feeble, from source, and therefore get blown away like empty chaff. These are the wishes exchanged for mere social politeness and simply to register ‘presence’. For some, too, it has become a sort of ‘duty’ to express Christmas and New Year wishes with some people so as to be considered for favours. Such considerations as these weaken the spiritual effects of the wishes and often erode them of all spiritual values.
The genuine wishes, recognised or acknowledged by the creative spiritual forces in Creation are those that pour out from the soul with sincere fervor, pure intentions, and deeply felt by the giver. Where they are able to find suitable soil they create magnetic connections with the wider compass of creation and attract blessings for both the giver and the recipient. Wishes, like deep desires of the soul, express themselves in living spiritual currents which attract similar thought vibrations in the cosmos, becoming more energized and thereby become empowered to bring about the realities hidden within its bosoms. It does not end there. Having reached the destination and brought effects into being, whether up-lifting or destructive, those same effects flow back to the author, in obedience to the natural law of reciprocity. To put it straight, whatever we wish others, also flow back to us, often with intensified velocity, due to similar thought energies gathered on the way to and fro. One must therefore always be careful what they wish others; for they will always return to the original author. It is quite a pity that some persons actually talk proudly of how ‘they hate someone or some people with passion’; not knowing they are actually hating and hurting themselves.
At this moment, when we generally send loving wishes to one another, may those wishes spring forth from pure centers, and be suffused with love and genuine intentions, so that they may uplift wherever they touch, and hold the hope of bringing us blessings in return.
This again, is one simple but powerful way through which the Almighty Creator grants each person the opportunity to weave his or her own destiny; simply by what you wish others. Let us use the moment to build lighter spiritual atmospheres for ourselves by truly meaning what we say to each other this time, and making them only wishes of love, blessings, and care.
We can build genuine goodwill all over the earth and foster speedy renewal and up building vibrations among the human race. Wars would be minimized and hate-filled ethnic and racial attacks disappear. Opportunities to rebuild the earth and humanity always present themselves to us free of cost. The foundation always lies in a new humanity, with rich inner spiritual enlightenment and orientation towards loving one and all. Utilize them and grow your prosperous and joy-filled future.; then it would truly be a ‘New Year’!
