Happiness will be yours if you contract a marriage made in Heaven.
On the other hand, you will reap unhappiness if you contract a marriage that is not made in Heaven.
A marriage made in Heaven is where both partners are destined for, or suited to each other based on their matching and complementary inner qualities and striving.
Where both work together and have the same high aims. Where they both harmoniously live, develop and mature together.
Where the true love of the soul alone on both sides forms the basis of the union.
Where both partners are uniting to seriously tackle a joint task aimed at raising their inner and outer value.
Where they are striving together for high aims, thereby becoming a blessing for themselves, mankind and the whole Creation.
Where both parties joyfully and voluntarily serve each other, and grow upward together towards spiritual ennoblement.
Where shoulder to shoulder, they face all earthly trials, and win together.
Where they strive upwards together.
If the union is contracted on the right foundation as defined above and develops harmoniously, unending happiness will flourish.
Such a happy marriage becomes a blessing to the couple for their whole existence.
In this happiness lies a swinging upwards, not only for the couple, but for the whole humanity.
How does your ‘marriage’ stand?
Were you destined for each other, or suited to each other? Were you joined together by your inner qualities which destined you for each other?
Did you come together to work together, tackle a joint high task together, and strive towards the same high aims?
Was there harmony between your inner qualities and striving? Is there harmony now?
Are you joyfully, voluntarily and unselfishly serving each other, without making demands?
Are you on the same path inwardly and outwardly? Is there harmony in your striving, in your goal?
Are you working together for the same high aims even in the material sense? Are you united on issues spiritual or material?
Is your union based on the Foundation of the God of one being the Same of the other? Are you living together truly on this Foundation?
Or do you live apart inwardly and outwardly? Do you follow separate ways and live under the same roof as separate human beings?
Do you live together as strangers in a hostile and toxic environment of frequent quarrels, of no warmth, no love?
Go back to the beginning. Did you contract your ‘marriage’, this most important step of your present earth life with the seriousness that it deserved? Were you vigilant enough?
Note the warnings and hints that assailed you then. That were generously extended to you from the Light to enable you take the right decision and contract a sound marriage.
Notably however, even with all the precautions taken, there may be the hidden hand of karma in whatever you experience. So also in your marriage.
All the same, remember: Cast your gaze confidently upwards to the Lord, and seek His help out of whatever torments you.
And He will not leave you alone in pain and distress.
